Post your pointers
OK you Smarty Pants who figured out how to add "posts" instead of "comments", how about sharing those instructions. I assume you have to sign in? I am working on a new site making photo albums for the families of each Brother & Sister and one for RACKLEY PHOTOS of old pics of Grandmother and Granddaddy Rackley and reunion shots of the brothers & sisters. So if you have pics you would like to share, email them to me at nellscott@hughes.net . Please include info such as names and dates. Even though the site is still under construction you can visit now if you like: www.lakemagnolia.spaces.live.com/ . You can also make comments there.

W-O-W-!
I think I finally found the spot to "introduce" myself! I tell ya' this new-fangled computer/ gizmo-type stuff is mostly beyond my comprehension. I don't even know where all I've been on this site just to get to here -- and I'm hoping "here" is at the beginning -- introductory part. I'm Nellawyn's baby sister! I always have been, always will be! So except for the Claude and kids and grandkids and great-grandkids parts is a ditto! Oh, and of course -- AGE! I'M a mere 58 for a couple more months anyhow. I got Roy Dethloff for the last 23 years. He's my chosen honey -- it's pretty obvious God picked him out for me. After 10 years of marriage to my first husband, I found myself a single mom. Roy married me and my kids and a year later adopted my two sons at the ages of 14 and 12. They (Shane [37] and Scott [35]) have both been married to their wives (Shelly and Laura, respectively) longer than I was to my first husband, so our family is proof God can still bring about good stuff. Both their wives are now Christians, and they've blessed us with 9 grandchildren from age 17 down to 4. We expect to have great-grandchildren, but HOPE AND PRAY they don't come until AT LEAST after 9 months of marriage unless they're really preemies, and hopefully until their parents are able to take care of them. I know, I know: God can and does take care of us all, but to operate under His blessing is a whole lot easier than not! Anyhow, guess I'm gonna close out for now. I'm going to try to leave in the morning to see Daddy. He's 86 now and has Alzheimer's. He and Alice seem to be doing fine, but those of you who knew Daddy before wouldn't probably know him now. He has in the last year become quite sedentary and sleeps a lot. Up until then, he was still so very active -- he took on a full-time position as maintenance man when he was 78 and built a full-size working wooden windmill (including building the gearbox from marbles and other such stuff!) at the retirement village he was maintenance man for. They wrote up an article in the Burnet, Tx., newspaper about his windmill, and made and presented a plaque to him about it. That was neat! Anyway, like I said, I'm getting ready to call it a day. Look forward to some more posts!

INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hi! I'm Nellawyn, oldest daughter of "Pete" Rackley Willis and Howard Willis and sister to Candace Dethloff. I'm 64 and married to a wonderful man, Claude Scott for 14 wonderful years. Between the two of us we have 6 kids, 3 with spouses, numerous grandkids and 1/2 doz great-grandkids with another one on the way. We love them all dearly. Most of us live in Cleveland, Texas about 45 miles north of Houston. I live on a little lake we share with about 13 other property owners about 1/2 of which live here. This is my first try at a blog but I thought this might be easier to post comments and pictures instead of trying to answer emails which I'm not very good at doing. This first picture is of Alice & Daddy and Claude and me.
