Hi! I'm Nellawyn, oldest daughter of "Pete" Rackley Willis and Howard Willis and sister to Candace Dethloff. I'm 64 and married to a wonderful man, Claude Scott for 14 wonderful years. Between the two of us we have 6 kids, 3 with spouses, numerous grandkids and 1/2 doz great-grandkids with another one on the way. We love them all dearly. Most of us live in Cleveland, Texas about 45 miles north of Houston. I live on a little lake we share with about 13 other property owners about 1/2 of which live here. This is my first try at a blog but I thought this might be easier to post comments and pictures instead of trying to answer emails which I'm not very good at doing. This first picture is of Alice & Daddy and Claude and me.

Hi! I am Lydia Flo Rackley, Jimmy Wade Rackley's fourth child. I am currently 48 yoa but that is fixing to change. I have been married twice and been divorced for almost 15 years. I have been going by my middle name for approx 20 years. I think this idea is great!!!!! It gives us all a chance to meet and get the family together in a new way!!!!
I am Tammi Beishline, Jimmy Wade and Edna's youngest daughter. I have been married to my second husband for 14 years. I have 3 children (25, 20, 18) and my first grandchild, Haidyn Marie (almost one). I married my first husband twice and were married until he was killed in an accident in Mesa, AZ almost 15 years ago. My granddaughter Haidyn is a 5 generation Marie, my maternal grandmother, my mother (Aunt Edna), my oldest sister Evelyn, my daughter (and Haidyn's mom) Andrea and now Haidyn. I live in Pleasanton right next door to my momma (Aunt Edna) and am at her house almost everyday. My husband, David, works for a college housing construction firm. He travels all over the place. He has been in Weatherford, OK; Deland, FL; Elon, NC; and just finished in Rolla, MO. He is off to Ruston, LA on the 15th. So very glad this got started. Hope to keep up with everyone.

I am Rebecca Rackley Quintanilla, oldest daughter of Maudie Yarborough Rackley Jackson, who is in turn the youngest daughter of Gertrude Elizabeth Rackley Yarborough Collins AND I am also the daughter of James Rackley, who is in turn the oldest son of Chester Ray Rackley. I have several siblings including half siblings and I am 31 years old. I have been married for almost 9 years to Daniel and have 6 children; Anastasia Haven Elizabeth-17, Mia Carleigh-8, Emalie Kalyn-7, Sistine Juliette Evelyn-6, Koregan Daniel-4, and Story Jayne-3 yrs old. We live in Watauga... a suburb NE of Fort Worth, TX. We are also extremely glad to be in touch! Oh yes, & I am Grannie's (Aunt Liz) favorite granddaughter!
Hey there. This is Shirley Rapp. My older brother, Russell, and I were adopted by Jim when we were still little and my younger brother, Wayne is Jim's son. I'm afraid I'm the only one posting for this part of the family, so I guess I'll start from oldest to youngest.
Russell is 41, been married to his second wife almost 15 years. His wife's name is Ann. They have two children, Brittany Ann who is 14 (7 weeks younger than my daugter) and Michael Wayne, who is 5 years old. His nickname is Loki and well deserved :D. Brittany is in several advance classes in school and was invite by Duke University to go there and take the SAT which she aced everything ecxept for math. She also plays the violin and it's absolutely wonderful to sit back and listen to her play. She made the All-City Orchestra as well and plays in many concerts.
I'm 40 and usually go by the name of Lann or Lannorui, which coincendentally means Shirley in Sindarin Elvish. Trust me, don't ask *laughs*. I have 3 children. David Ryan is 19 (jeez I'm getting old) and he lives in a group home in San Angelo. He has severe Bi-Polar (manic depressive), Aspergers Syndrome (a higher functioning form of Autism), and severe ADHD which cannot be treated with medication because of his Bi-Polar. He is classified as mildly mentally challenged and is still struggling to get through high school. It will probably take a couple more years. The reason for the group home is he was too big and strong in his violent attacks for me to handle any more. He's 6' 5" and about 180 lbs of muscle. Big boy! We thought he was going to be completely blind within the next 2 years, but a miracle saved the sight in his right eye. He had severe cataracts on both eyes. The first specialist said nothing could be done because of the positioning, however they went for a second opinion and the surgeon said they might be able to save the right eye. There was a 70% chance he was going to come out of surgery completely blind. Thankfully, they were able to remove the cataract from his right eye, but say it will eventually return, but the cataract on his left eye was tied in such severe knots, they weren't able to remove it.
My second son is Joshua Michael who is 15 and will be 16 in March. No, he's not getting a drivers liscense yet no matter how much he begs. I'm not brave enough for that one yet :P. He's my charmer out of my 3 kiddos and used to be able to charm his way out of trouble. He's very disappointed that it no longer works. So sad... really... trully... NOT :P
Josh has now grown enough to have to look down at me when we talk. He's 5' 11". He loves to walk everywhere, hates sports, loves videos, and creatures he makes up for storylines with his best friend. Eventually he wants to learn to develop video games. He definitely has the imagination for it.
My baby girl is Sarah Elizabeth and she is 14 going on 30. Interesting piece of info here is that she and her Uncle Wayne share the same birthday. That's alway neat. She was 5 weeks premature, but she has more than made up for it as she is already 5' 6". Sarah and Brittany were supposed to be born only days apart, but Sarah was early and Brittany late but it's all good. :D.
She is very creative and artistic. She writes a lot of poetry and has already had two of her poems published along with some of mine. We're working on putting together a Mother/Daughter Poetry book. Our unique differences of mine coming from a life of already experience all lot of things and hers from the younger eyes of innocence makes quit a combination. She is also working to write a few short stories, however, she gets started on one and gets an idea for another and wanders off to it.
As for myself, I love to write as well. I am partially disabled with a serious back injury that I've already had one surgery on and they want to do another. I'm putting it off. I also work part time as a Home Health Aide. We live in Lake Dallas, TX which is between Lewisville and Denton and I've been in this area for about 23 years. After the new year, the kids and I will be moving to Austin, TX.
Last but not least is Wayne. He is 35 and has been married to his wife Kari for one year this week. Kari has two teenage children from a previous marriage and then Wayne and Kari have two babies. Mary-Grace Elizabeth who is 3 1/2 and pretty smart and then Noah Riley who is 1 1/2 and quite a handful. At the moment, I should know since they are all living with us. Wayne and Kari will soon be taking over the running of a club in Galveston in about 2 months so they're staying with me until it's ready for them.
Well, I guess that's about it for all of us. I couldn't figure out how to put pictures in here. I have some of Sarah and Joshua playing with Wayne's pet python snakes taken just a couple of days ago as well as some of Wayne with his babies. You would think with me running my own writers website I would be able to figure this out... but I guess something was lacking in the brain tonight. Could be the time... NAH :P

Hello my name is Sharon I am Flossie's Daughter-in-law. I have been married to Joel, Flossie's oldest for 30 years this June. We have two lovely daughters. Rachel DeWitt and Flossie Elisabeth Rogers. We have a gospel singing group for 26 years and help pastor the church that Flossie pastors for 24 years now. We work in the service of our Lord and enjoy traveling for Him and doing His work! Didn't even know about Y'ALL! Guess the Rackleys got all KINDS of surprises up their sleeves STILL! WILLIAM! YOU'RE STILL ALIVE?! Good to know that and talk to you after all these what, 40 years?! And Flo, I'M WITH YOU, getting to know and re-getting to know family is G-O-O-O-O-O-D-! I bet there's a few happy Rackleys in heaven because of it! Oh, and Tammi, our youngest grandson -- our 9th! -- was born at Pleasanton four years ago on July 4! Wish I'd known you were there, I'd'a come seen y'all! And Hello, Becca! Well, life's been even crazier than USUAL here of late, but I'm gonna TRY to keep up with this site. I got a touch of p-monia I think, but it's not too terribly bad since I finally was able to get out of bed Friday, but I still think I want to lay down, so fair warning: I'LL BE BACK!
